Casino withdrawal pending: why it waits and what to do
The word “pending” covers several different situations, and only some of them are slow. Here’s how to tell which one you’re in, and the checks that usually get a payout moving.
On this page
What the statuses mean
- Pending: the request has been made and is waiting to be reviewed. At many casinos it can still be cancelled at this stage.
- Approved or processing: the casino has accepted it and sent it to the payment route. From here the timing is mostly the bank’s or the network’s.
- Paid or completed: the money has left the casino.
- Rejected or returned: something didn’t match, and the amount has gone back to your balance. The reason is normally given in the cashier or by email.
Knowing which status you’re looking at saves a lot of worry. A request that’s approved but not yet in your account is in the bank’s hands; a request that has sat on pending for days is usually waiting for something from you.
Why a withdrawal waits
Verification isn’t finished
Before a first payout, casinos check identity, address and the payment method. If those documents aren’t uploaded, or one was blurred, cropped or out of date, the request waits. This is the most common reason by a distance, and the cure is to upload clear, current documents in the same name as the account.
A bonus is still active
While any bonus balance is in play, even a few cents, most casinos hold withdrawals. Finish the wagering or forfeit the bonus and the request can go through. The message on screen is often vague, so look at the bonus balance itself.
Names don’t match
The name on the casino account has to match the name on the card, bank account or e-wallet. A partner’s card, a nickname at registration or a missing middle name will stop a payout until it’s sorted.
The route can’t take a withdrawal
Not every deposit method can receive money back. Many cashiers pay out to the method you deposited with first, and ask for an alternative only when that route can’t receive funds.
A manual review
Larger amounts, a first withdrawal or a change of payment details can trigger a manual check. It adds time, not a problem, provided the account details are in order.
By payment method
Crypto moves at any hour once approved; the delay, if any, is the network’s confirmation time. Double-check the receiving address and choose the same network on both sides, because a transfer sent on the wrong chain usually can’t be recovered. Cards go back through the card network and the issuing bank, which is why they are the slowest route to receive. Bank and app-based accounts such as Revolut follow banking days, so an approval late on Friday can land on Monday. Our fast payout casinos page compares the routes, and casino payments covers crypto balances.
What to do, in order
- Don’t cancel it. If your casino allows reversal, a cancelled request puts the money back into your balance, which is the opposite of what you want.
- Check the bonus balance. Anything above zero is the likely reason.
- Open the verification section and look for a document marked missing or rejected.
- Compare names on the account and on the payment method.
- Write to support with your username, the amount, the time of the request and the method, and ask exactly what is outstanding. Live chat is usually quickest.
Next time, do the boring part first: upload your documents on the day you register, and clear or skip the bonus before you ask for a payout.
At the casinos we review
All five cashiers work in euro and, when we checked in September 2026, offered cards, Revolut and crypto, with a €25 general minimum deposit and €30 on card and Revolut. CasinoPurple and YourWin24 collect your name and address at the first deposit; the other three ask for them at registration. Either way, those are the details a withdrawal is checked against.

Frequently asked questions
Why is my casino withdrawal still pending?
Most often because identity verification is unfinished, a bonus is still active, or the request is waiting for a manual review. Check your verification status and bonus balance first.
Can I cancel a pending withdrawal?
At many casinos, yes, while it is still pending; the money goes back to your playing balance. If you intend to withdraw, leave the request alone.
Why was my withdrawal sent back to my balance?
Usually because something did not match: the name on the account and on the payment method, an unverified document, or a payment route that cannot receive withdrawals.
Do withdrawals get processed at weekends?
Crypto moves at any hour once approved. Card and bank routes depend on banking days, so a request approved on Friday evening may not reach you before Monday.
What should I send to support about a pending withdrawal?
Your username, the amount and time of the request, the payment method, and confirmation that your documents are uploaded. Ask what, if anything, is still missing.
